Hi, I’m Deany Laliotis

I will be your instructor for this EMDR Basic Training online. I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce you to EMDR therapy, a powerful and effective approach that changed my practice and my life.  I began working alongside Francine Shapiro, originator of EMDR in 1993 and, she became my mentor. I was able to contribute to the evolution of EMDR from a powerful technique to a comprehensive psychotherapy that goes beyond the resolution of trauma to healing the human spirit. I am an invited presenter and keynote speaker at EMDR therapy conferences throughout the world, as well as a trainer, clinical consultant and psychotherapist. In addition to this EMDRIA-approved Basic EMDR Training, I’ll also introduce you to a more relational approach to healing complex trauma, addictions, anxiety and trauma while helping our clients step into all that’s possible for them.

What’s Included in This EMDR BASIC Training?

  • An enhanced three-part EMDR Practice Manual that is the definitive collection of EMDR therapy procedures, protocols and techniques—yours to keep forever.
  • Access everything you need—training manuals, handouts, worksheets—online.
  • The online community Café is a place to discuss topics, ask questions and get to know other therapists taking this course.
  • Ten hours of case consultation at no extra cost—a benefit few other Basic Trainings include.
  • The guidance and support of a trained and highly experienced EMDR practice facilitator during breakout and practice sessions throughout your training.
  • Bonus Video 1: How to use EMDR therapy with front line health care workers and first responders.
  • Bonus Video 2: How to work with addictions during times of adversity using EMDR Therapy.
  • Bonus Video 3: Best practice guidance for making the most of teletherapy and using EMDR to treat complex trauma remotely.
