Healing the Wounds of Attachment
and Rebuilding Self

Transform Your Work with Challenging Clients, Complex Trauma and Attachment Injuries with Relational EMDR

Attachment issues are at the heart of many clients’ ongoing life challenges. When clients bring those issues into your office, you can find yourself facing clinical challenges that test the limits of your training and experience.

  • You recognize your client’s attachment wounds and the patterns related to them. Nevertheless, there’s a day when you get triggered. How do you get back on track? How do repair with your client.
  • You practice the protocols faithfully, but what’s your next step when negative patterns persist undermining your client’s relationships.
  • Your client evolves (Success!). Issues shift—foreground to background and back. Is there one right way to adjust clinical priorities moving forward?
  • You understand that working with attachment trauma requires great and subtle skill. What’s your confidence level moving from reprocessing to facilitating the re-building of self?

Are you ready to start reframing clinical challenges
like these as moments of opportunity for healing and growth?
Then this Advanced EMDR training is for you.

Chicago, IL • Friday, December 7 – Saturday, December 8 2018

Clinical challenges like these have inspired me for the last 40 years. As an EMDR Evangelist, I’ve worked with leading clinicians and innovators in EMDR, trauma treatment and somatic healing to expand the understanding of EMDR as a comprehensive psychotherapy . As a therapist, I’ve refined the application of EMDR to enhance its effectiveness in repairing attachment injuries, resolving negative life patterns rooted in complex trauma and other challenging clinical cases. As a trainer and consultant, I’ve traveled throughout the US and around the world to help ensure that therapists everywhere have the understanding, skill and confidence they need to bring the transformative healing power of EMDR Psychotherapy to the clients they see.

Don’t miss this chance to take your EMDR practice
to a new level of mastery.

Imagine Having the Skill and Confidence to Help Your Clients
Experience a New Level of Aliveness, Ease and Relatedness

This Advanced Training workshop is laser-focused on giving you everything you need to work effectively with attachment injuries and complex trauma. You’ll examine the most common issues arising from attachment injuries and developmental trauma and learn the secrets of adapting EMDR to that work. You’ll cover which approaches are most effective—and appropriate—based on a client’s attachment style and you’ll find out about predictable pitfalls and how to avoid them. You can start using what you learn in your clinical work right away.
