The Psychotherapy Networker Symposium is the most celebrated annual gathering for psychotherapists anywhere. For 44 years, the annual Networker Symposium has been inspiring dedicated therapists with new, practical insights from the world’s leading clinical experts. You can join this warm community of like-minded professionals who share your passion for creating change. This year’s Virtual Symposium Experience includes innovative strategies for treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenging clinical issues plus creative approaches from over 70 of the field’s most acclaimed experts to inspire and advance your clinical work. You’ll have opportunities to engage with colleagues from around the world with live, small-group conversations on therapy’s most important topics. And you’ll be able to spend a full day with Deany Laliotis in her two-part Thursday workshop.
While EMDR is best known for the treatment of PTSD, it’s evolved into a comprehensive, attachment-based approach that addresses a broad range of clinical conditions. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to enhance the power of EMDR by heightening the therapist’s use of self and creating an attuned experience that enables clients to process painful experiences that have been previously avoided or denied. We’ll explore how to assess a client’s readiness for the emotional challenges of bringing the past into present-day awareness and the trust in the therapist required to embark on this difficult journey.
