Lily Anderson, LCSW, is a psychotherapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in private practice in Bloomington, IL. Lily’s specialty areas include developmental/attachment/complex trauma and dissociative disorders, and she works with children, adolescents, adults of all ages, and in parent-child dynamics. Lily became an EMDRIA Certified Therapist after consulting under Ana Gomez and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant while consulting under Deany Laliotis, both having worked directly under Francine Shapiro.
Lily received her Master of Social Work degree at Illinois State University and continued working as an LCSW in foster care until she began her private practice. Other treatment modalities used as a supplement to EMDR include, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA). Lily currently is the Clinical Coordinator for the nonprofit organization, Need Shelter, providing crisis and mental health resources for those in the music industry. Lily is also an Adjunct Professor at the School of Social Work at Illinois State University. Although she lives in Central Illinois, Lily is available to do individual and group EMDR consultations via Zoom for anyone interested in any location around the globe. Lily also speaks fluent Portuguese and has had past experience consulting and training clinicians in São Paulo, Brazil.

Lisa Garcia, LCSW-C is a private practice psychotherapist working with adults and adolescents in Olney, Maryland. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from The Catholic University of America and received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Social Work in 1997. Since that time, she has worked as a social worker with diverse populations in a variety of settings including outpatient community mental health, continuing care retirement community, and medical hospital. Lisa was trained in EMDR in 2016 with Dan Merlis, LICSW and has been receiving consultation from Deany Laliotis, LCSW-C since that time. She is committed to using EMDR psychotherapy to help her clients heal from prior wounds and to strengthen adaptive ways of relating in relationships and with life challenges. She specializes in treating simple, complex developmental and attachment trauma as well as traumatic bereavement. Lisa has received formal EMDR training in R-TEP and G-TEP, she is a member of EMDRIA, certified in EMDR, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Lisa provides group and individual consultation. Debbie is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant and a facilitator with EMDR of Greater Washington. Additionally, she incorporates somatic interventions into her EMDR practice. As a trauma-informed therapist, she is committed to improving the lives of those who suffer from the effects of traumatic and overwhelming experiences and providing the relief offered by such a powerful and transformative psychotherapy.
Debbie has been a consultant to mental health providers in both outpatient and residential facilities serving children and families. Debbie currently provides group and individual consultation to therapists who wish to deepen their understanding of EMDR.

Jeanne Martin, LPC, is a psychotherapist and an EMDRIA-approved consultant in private practice in Charlottesville, Va. She previously had a private practice in northern Virginia for 20 years. In addition to being an EMDR therapist, Jeanne has trained extensively in Neurofeedback and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. She likes to incorporate somatic interventions into her EMDR work as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS). Her areas of expertise include PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and treating simple, complex developmental and attachment trauma. Prior to her psychotherapy career, Jeanne worked for 18 years as a research analyst in the Department of Defense. This experience enhanced her interest in working with military families, veterans and PTSD. She then switched gears and went back to school to become a psychotherapist. She started her therapy career at the National Counseling Group (a dual diagnostic treatment facility) and as a counselor at West Springfield HS working with at-risk teens. Subsequently, she began her own private practice in Burke, VA. Jeanne’s educational background includes a BA in Psychology from the George Washington University and an MEd. in counseling from Virginia Tech.

Carol Mettus, LCSW-C is a clinical Social Worker, psychodynamic psychotherapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant trained by Deany Lalitous and Dan Merlis. Carol was born in the UK, lived in Australia and for the past 20 years has called the US home. Carol started working in out-patient mental health clinics and has worked with many different racial, cultural and different ethnicities and is now in private practice in Frederick, Maryland. Carol has been using EMDR in her practice since 2011 and has helped many people to overcome their current/past traumas and help them from being “stuck” to a more fulfilling and rewarding life. Carol works with adults, students, individuals, couples and families. In addition to Carol’s extensive EMDR trainings, she has post graduate trainings that include the clinical program at the Washington School of Psychiatry, externship Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Ego State Therapy and is attending conferences and trainings to improve her ability to help her clients heal. Carol believes in the mind and body connection and was drawn to EMDR because of this. Dr. Carolyn Rasche is a Clinical Psychologist with over 46 years of experience as a psychotherapist. She was trained in EMDR in 1993 and became a facilitator for the EMDR Institute in 1996. She has been certified and an EMDRIA approved consultant since 1998.
She works mostly with adults and specializes in childhood trauma and dissociative disorders. She has trained with Craig Penner combining natural processing blended with EMDR and has trained with Ignacio Jarero in recent event protocols. She has worked along side Deany Laliotis for many years facilitating basic training workshops and has taken and sponsored many of Deany’s advanced clinical workshops. Carolyn has run 9 month consultation groups from 1998 to 2016. For the last decade, she has run quarterly EMDR Days that are 4 hours long and include practicing the model and case consultation. Currently she provides individual and group consultation virtually.
In the Atlanta area, she has organized the EMDR community for networking, education, and trauma response. She is a Consultant for the Atlanta Trauma Recovery Network.

Mary Ray, LCSW, trained in EMDR in 2000 with Francine Shapiro & Andrew Leeds and continued on with Deany Laliotis in individual and group consultation. Mary applies EMDR as a comprehensive relational psychotherapy to treat complex trauma and heal attachment wounds. Mary runs monthly consult groups in person in Alexandria and on Zoom. Mary addresses physical, emotional, sexual, social, spiritual, and intellectual components of a person/system. She provides individual, couple, family, and group therapy as well as EMDR individual and group consultation and business consultation. Mary is Certified in EMDR, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, a Certified Sex and Couples Therapist, an Imago Therapy Advanced Clinician, and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is also trained in other arenas such as attachment, family systems, various models of couples therapy, and addiction treatment.

Sarah Rosney, LCSW-R, is a psychotherapist in private practice in Upstate NY. Sarah’s clinical work has included working with individuals, children, families and groups in private practice as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Her expertise is in treating complex developmental trauma, traumatic bereavement, sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse.
Sarah has trained with Deany Laliotis in individual and group consultation and has also received training in the use of EMDR with structural dissociation, R-TEP and G-TEP. Outside of private practice Sarah provides professional development and consultation to schools in the areas of social-emotional learning and trauma informed practices. Before starting her private practice, Sarah developed and implemented a perinatal palliative care program, and worked with post-resettlement refugees along with pediatric hospice and palliative care.
Sarah provides EMDR consultation in her office and online both individually and in groups. She enjoys working with newly trained EMDR therapists along with seasoned therapists who are looking for consultation on complex cases.

Melanie Shapiro, LICSW is an EMDRIA approved consultant and certified EMDR practitioner in Washington DC. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Melanie specializes in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and traumatic life events. Her prior experience includes supervisory and staff roles at The Viva Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and N Street Village. In addition to her EMDR training, Melanie received Neurofeedback training at EEG Education & Research Institute for Applied Neurotherapy and completed a certificate in Trauma-Informed Clinical practice.
