Basic EMDR Trainings

Basic EMDR Training—Take the First Step

basic EMDR TRaining

Our Basic EMDR Training is your first step in a practice-changing approach to transformational healing. It’s your chance to begin mastering the theory and practice of EMDR Therapy. Our basic trainings are taught online by Deany Laliotis, one of the field’s most dynamic and highly regarded EMDR trainers.

Teaching is supplemented with practice sessions that give you first-hand experience of EMDR memory processing—both as a clinician and from a client’s point of view.

This three-part, 44-hour Basic EMDR Training is approved by EMDRIA, the gold standard for EMDR training and certification worldwide. In fact, it exceeds EMDRIA’s requirements with more hours dedicated to facilitated practice than many other Basic EMDR Trainings.

Undoing aloneness is an important part of our unique approach.

What Can You Expect?

We illustrate teaching with dramatic clinical videos—multiple-session case studies of real clients. And we include facilitated practice sessions that give you first-hand experience of EMDR memory processing—both as a clinician and from a client’s point of view. What’s more, 10 hours of case consultation are included with the training at no extra cost. Here are just a few of the things you’ll learn in this Basic EMDR Training:

  • basic EMDR therapy procedures, protocols and techniques
  • a full range of applications from EMDR treatment for acute trauma and PTSD to longer-term EMDR therapy for challenging clinical cases like complex trauma and dissociative disorders
  • how to use EMDR therapy to treat problems of daily life such as low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loneliness, anxiety, depression and addictions
  • the practice of EMDR teletherapy—an essential skill for your successful practice

You’ll also receive a newly revised three-part Basic EMDR Training Practice Manual. It is the definitive collection of EMDR therapy procedures, protocols and techniques—yours to keep forever.

Our Basic EMDR Trainings are the first step in our Relational EMDR approach. Learn more.
